Through Ms. Marvel, the MCU has revealed a major problem with the upcoming Armor Wars show: the Department of Damage Control can't be the only threat.
The MCU has subtly revealed a problem with the upcoming Disney+ series, Armor Wars, which will revolve around Iron Man's tech. Throughout Ms. Marvel, Kamala Khan has come into contact with the MCU's Department of Damage Control, or the DODC, in multiple episodes. There are currently few details known about the upcoming show Armor Wars, but it is expected that the DODC will play a role, seeing as they use much of the abandoned Stark tech that was left behind after Tony Stark's passing.
In Ms. Marvel, the DODC uses Stark drones to chase Kamala down and they also use other tech, presumably Stark or alien in origin, to capture the ClanDestines. The DODC also makes an appearance in previous MCU films, most notably the Spider-Man franchise. In Spider-Man: Homecoming, the DODC is seen as a government agency originally formed by Stark to clean up after superhero battles, but they seem to have changed their primary goal and now seek to find and capture enhanced individuals, like Kamala Khan.

With Damage Control primarily using Iron Man's tech, then it is safe to assume they will appear in the upcoming show Armor Wars. The one issue this poses, though is that the DODC has been largely ineffective up to this point. In Ms. Marvel, the Stark drones fail to capture Kamala, even though she is still learning how to use her powers. The ClanDestines also handily escape from the DODC after being captured, rending the Damage Control weapons essentially useless. Currently, it doesn't appear that the DODC will pose much of a threat to Rhodey. If this is any indication, then Don Cheadle's War Machine will need some other threat to square off against in Armor Wars.
War Machine is the heir to Tony Stark's tech, and this storyline will surely be examined in Armor Wars. It remains to be seen who will step up as the main villain, as the MCU has not done a great job at setting up the DODC as a real threat if they are to become one in Armor Wars. That said, this leaves some villains who have yet to make an MCU appearance as viable options., namely, Stilt-Man, Controller, or another bad guy from the comics that takes Stark tech for themselves.
Along with the scarce plot details, there also currently isn't a release date for Armor Wars. The DODC will surely play some sort of role in the series, but it's more likely a different main villain will up to the plate to offer a real challenge to War Machine. It also wouldn't be a surprise to see Rhodey take on a protégé in Riri Williams' Ironheart, who will likely be set for a bigger role after her introduction.
