Committed to: Texas A&M 247Sports rank: 4-star | 96 rating | No. 35 Overall | No. 1 LB Recruiting summary: A 6-foot-2, 225-pound linebacker out of Ryan High School in Denton, Texas, Hill committed to the Aggies over fellow finalist Texas. He holds 33 reported offers overall. His primary recruiter at Texas A&M was co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Tyler Santucci. He is the seventh commitment for the Aggies in the 2023 recruiting cycle. In 14 games as a junior, he tallied 131 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, eight sacks, six quarterback hurries, two interceptions, three pass breakups, two forced fumbles and two touchdowns on defense while rushing for 176 yards and seven touchdowns on 36 carries on offense, per MaxPreps. Scouting report: Requisite height with good length and a big frame to add mass. Athletic, physical, violent off-ball linebacker who occasionally steps to the line of scrimmage. Long-term positional home is in question, but ability is not. Thumper vs. the run with chase-down athleticism from the back side. Capable of consistent sideline-to-sideline pursuit with proven blitzing ability. Tone-setter for an FBS-loaded Texas 5A D-I state championship defense as only a sophomore. Produced good numbers despite playing on a unit with a lot of mouths to feed, so to speak. Adequate in-space athleticism in coverage but at his best playing downhill. Owns valuable offensive reps as a short-yardage battering ram with the ball. Shows promising pass-rush instincts despite primary role being off-ball. Main question is position in the long term, but physical tools suggest highest ceiling as an edge player. Regardless, one of the most dynamic defensive prospects in Texas and the country for his class through the 2020 season. Projects as an impact high-major starter with long-term early-round NFL Draft potential. – 247Sports Midlands Region Recruiting Analyst Gabe Brooks NFL Draft projection: Second Round

Committed to: Texas A&M 247Sports rank: 4-star | 93 rating | No. 106 Overall | No. 8 ATH Recruiting summary: A 6-foot-1, 185-pound athlete out of Shiner High School in Shiner, Texas, Brooks committed to the Aggies over offers from Alabama, Notre Dame, Penn State and Texas, among others. He holds 22 reported offers overall. His primary recruiter at Texas A&M was running backs coach Tommie Robinson, while defensive backs coach TJ Rushing also assisted in his recruitment. He is the eighth commitment for the Aggies in the 2023 recruiting cycle. Though he is listed as an athlete, he is expected to play in the secondary for Texas A&M. In 16 games as a junior, he rushed for 2,611 yards and 39 touchdowns on 238 carries and caught 13 passes for 331 yards and one touchdown. Scouting report: Good height and apparent frame length, though neither verified yet. Lean, athletic, wiry strong build. Multi-layered on-field experience in all-three phases. Snaps at multiple skill positions, in the secondary, and in the return game. Enormous two-way production for dominant small-school program. Too athletic as a ball carrier for vast majority of opponents at Texas 2A level. Big-play machine at running back. Possesses ball skills fostered by ample two-way snaps. High-volume tackler when needed. Takes good angles to the ball and arrives with purpose. More natural and instinctive on defense. Also competes in the long jump and triple jump. Ran an 11.49 100 as a freshman, an encouraging time at that age. Good top-end field speed but can probably still squeeze more juice out of it. Shows above average redirecting ability but will need to translate that to consistent short-area twitch, especially if assigned to a DB spot in college. Raw in technique in general but possesses good physical and developmental upside. Could play Power Five ball on either side of the line of scrimmage, but projects as a potential impact player at safety, where he's a high-major recruit with a long-term NFL Draft ceiling. – 247Sports Midlands Region Recruiting Analyst Gabe Brooks NFL Draft projection: 2-3 Round (Day 2)

Committed to: Stanford 247Sports rank: 4-star | 90 rating | No. 38 DL Recruiting summary: A 6-foot-4, 260-pound defensive lineman out of Sierra Canyon High School in Chatsworth, Calif., Brandt committed to the Cardinal over fellow finalist California. He holds 13 reported offers overall. His primary recruiter at Stanford was defensive line coach Diron Reynolds. He is the 14th commitment for the Cardinal in the 2023 recruiting cycle. In 12 games as a junior, he recorded 52 tackles, 11 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks, per MaxPreps.

Committed to: Ohio State 247Sports rank: 4-star | 90 rating | No. 19 QB Recruiting summary: A 6-foot-2, 195-pound quarterback out of Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis, Tenn., Glenn committed to the Buckeyes over fellow finalists Auburn, Florida State and TCU. He holds 34 reported offers overall. His primary recruiter at Ohio State was quarterbacks coach Corey Dennis. He is the 19th commitment for the Buckeyes in the 2023 recruiting cycle. In 10 games as a junior, he completed 97 of 155 passes (62.6%) for 1,576 yards with 23 touchdowns against nine interceptions while rushing for 161 yards and three touchdowns on 31 carries, per MaxPreps. Scouting report: Possesses adequate size at the quarterback position at 6-foot-2 and 195-pounds. Maintains growth potential to add additional weight to his frame. Displays above average athleticism and appears to have some quick twitch ability in the pocket to extend plays. Plays in a shotgun pro-style offense but shows the ability to play under center. Flashes good pocket awareness and adequate mobility as a runner. Demonstrates good foot quickness / setup in the pocket but feet can get a little happy at times leading to accuracy issues. Possesses above average arm talent and adequate arm strength. Exhibits a clean shoulder high release and gets the ball out quickly. Excels as a short to intermediate passer, displaying timing, anticipation and accuracy. Flashes some touch and accuracy on the deep ball but has room to improve in that area. Has a tendency to play fast at times but has above average tools at the quarterback position and has the ability to excel in the right system. Projects a multi-year starter at a Power Five program at the next level that will need a year or two to develop before seeing significant playing time. Will also need to take better care of the football as he recorded a 23/9 TD-to-INT ratio last season as a junior. – 247Sports National Recruiting Analyst Cooper Petagna NFL Draft projection: 2-3 Round (Day 2)

Committed to: South Carolina 247Sports rank: 3-star | 89 rating | No. 46 DL Recruiting summary: A 6-foot-5, 235-pound defensive lineman out of Sumter High School in Sumter, S.C., Rhames committed to the Gamecocks over fellow finalists Alabama, Georgia, Michigan and NC State. He holds 18 reported offers overall. His primary recruiter at South Carolina was defensive ends and outside linebackers coach Sterling Lucas, while defensive line coach Jimmy Lindsey also assisted in his recruitment. He is the 13th commitment for the Gamecocks in the 2023 recruiting cycle. In 11 games as a junior, he tallied 75 tackles, 20.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, seven quarterback hurries, one pass breakup and two forced fumbles, per MaxPreps.

Committed to: Florida 247Sports rank: 3-star | 88 rating | No. 39 S Recruiting summary: A 6-foot-2, 195-pound safety out of West Orange High School in Winter Garden, Fla., Castell committed to the Gators over fellow finalists Alabama and Tennessee. He holds 34 reported offers overall. His primary recruiter at Florida was co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach Patrick Toney, while cornerbacks coach Corey Raymond also assisted in his recruitment. He is the 15th commitment for the Gators in the 2023 recruiting cycle. In 13 games as a junior, he tallied 36 tackles, two tackles for loss, two interceptions, four pass breakups and two fumble returns for touchdowns, per MaxPreps. Scouting report: A large defensive back prospect. Measured just under 6-foot-2, 200 pounds spring before senior season. Likely to settle in as a safety on Saturdays given size, but spent much of junior year working as an outside cornerback in a defensive scheme that put him in a lot of 1-on-1 situations. Ability to body-up and hang with large wide receivers or hybrid slot tight ends is without a doubt a strength as he understands how to put himself in position to make a play on the ball. Isn’t one that’s afraid to make an open field tackle, either, and has gotten better and better in run support over the years as he will sift through traffic before finding leverage and making a stop. Top-end speed a big question mark with no testing on record, but has shown in some situations that he can close gaps on Friday nights and does change directions pretty well for someone on the taller side. Should be viewed as a potential multi-year contributor at the Power Five level given his build and skillset. Will probably need a year or two in the weight room along with some time to learn the system at the school of his choice, but might have a chance to contribute early on in career as a special teamer given how he tackles. Corner could very well end up being his home, but he's also the type of defender that could get looks elsewhere in the secondary and maybe even at linebacker depending on how his body fills out. – 247Sports Southeast Recruiting Analyst Andrew Ivins Projection: Power-5 Starter

Frame can support 300 pounds and remain productive. Plays physical and aggressive. Is violent with quick hands and able to overpower high school defenders. Fires off fast and low at snap and explodes up and into defensive lineman. Athleticism and body control shines when lining up as fullback and blocking in space. Able to engage and stay on block while driving legs to create running lanes. Sinks hips to win leverage battles. Has ability to pull as well as scrape and demolish linebacker at second level. Has to continue to build strength throughout his frame. Becoming more consistent in sinking hips and not bending at waist is important. Has to develop ability to move laterally and be strong with punch when in pass pro. Needs to become more consistent sitting in base and reacting to change of direction in pass pro. Scouting report: Listed at 6-foot-5 and 225-pounds, appears to possess growth potential to add additional weight to his frame. Two-way player, displays good athleticism on both sides of the ball. Multi-dimensional athlete with the ability to add value as a traditional Y-TE with his in-line blocking ability, but more equipped to be a factor in the passing game. Position versatile, will line up in the backfield, in-line, and split out. Displays above average in-line blocking ability. Understands leverage, uses his body well at the point of attack to shield defenders. Will need to continue to add strength at the next level to become an above average in-line blocking tight end. Exhibits excellent versatility as a receiver, has the ability to be moved around all over the field. Plays with good short area quickness and suddenness as a route runner. Moves efficiently, getting in and out of breaks quickly. Demonstrates good route tempo, understanding leverage and how to separate at the top of the route. Possesses above average play speed and offers some run after catch ability. Natural pass catcher with the ability to be a factor in the short to intermediate part of the field. Has an excellent play temperament for the position, understands how to play the game with instincts and awareness. Committed to: USC 247Sports rank: 4-star | 91 rating | No. 211 Overall | No. 23 CB Recruiting summary: A 6-foot-3.5, 180-pound cornerback out of Pacifica High School in Oxnard, Calif., Crawford committed to the Trojans over fellow finalists California and UCLA. He was previously committed to the Bruins for nearly six months before reopening his recruitment on Jan. 23. He holds 18 reported offers overall. His primary recruiter at USC was defensive passing game coordinator and defensive backs coach Donte Williams, while defensive coordinator and safeties coach Alex Grinch also assisted in his recruitment. He is the 14th commitment for the Trojans in the 2023 recruiting cycle. In 10 games as a junior, he tallied 63 tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack, one interception and seven pass breakups on defense while catching seven passes for 99 yards on offense, per MaxPreps. Scouting report: With long corners like Crawford, you look for quickness and pace. You don’t want a long strider necessarily who can’t change direction or get out of their breaks. You want a guy who can use his length and his long arms to disrupt a receiver at the line of scrimmage and can be physical but also has the speed to turn and run and break on the football. Crawford can obviously work on his top end speed but we like his short area burst and you can see his athleticism on the offensive side of the ball. He’s got some twitch to him and plays with suddenness. He plays a physical game as well and has a nice edge to him. His Pacifica program is known for their toughness and being the kind of team that is uncomfortable to play against. As Crawford continues to fill out and improve athletically, his game will rise to another level and there’s no reason why he won’t be on the short list when talking about the top defense backs in the ’23 West Coast class. – 247Sports National Recruiting Analyst Greg Biggins Player comparison: Kevin King | CB | Green Bay Packers

He is the second commitment for the Tigers in the 2024 recruiting cycle. Scouting report: A big-framed, pro-style passer that has flashed some arm talent at various points over the years. Has measured over 6-foot-4 and close to 225 pounds. Equipped with big 10-inch hands. Age appropriate for his grade and has sizable varsity experience having played as an eighth grader at Miami Christian before taking over the starting role at Opa Locka Monsignor Pace as a freshman/sophomore and then eventually enrolling at Miami Columbus to close out prep career. Tight 3/4 arm slot allows him to create some velocity and throw a tighter spiral. Has the upper body strength to get the ball outside the hashes, but seems to be at his best when he can set his feet and drive the football towards his target. Not much of a runner, but does have some experience coordinating different RPOs out of a single-back spread attack. However, must improve pocket presence and internal clock as that will likely help cut down on the mistakes, which tend to come in flurries once rattled. Overall, should be viewed as a developmental quarterback prospect with some of the required tools to win games on Saturdays, but one that will need to keep progressing as a decision maker and get better at processing complex defenses, especially if he’s taking snaps in the SEC or Big Ten. – 247Sports Southeast Recruiting Analyst Andrew Ivins Projection: Power-5 Starter
