Triple-S Steel Supply Co., a Houston steel service center, has announced the purchase of BMG Metals, a distributor of steel and aluminum and associated metal processing services. In conjunction with this transaction, Steve Briggeman, a 21-year veteran of Triple-S, has been promoted to regional vice president.

Dean Wagoner, president of BMG Metals, said, “After taking BMG as far as we could over the past nine years of ownership, Dillon Supply and our parent Descours and Cabaud realized BMG needed to be part of a larger steel organization in order to grow to the next level.”

Triple-S Steel Holdings Inc. encompasses more than 42 locations in the U.S., Canada, and Colombia. In addition to Triple-S Steel Supply Co., the brands include Intsel Steel, Steckerl Aceros, Arbor Metals, Maas-Hansen Steel, and Alamo Iron Works.
