A deputy and units from the Pleasant Valley Joint Fire District, the Jerome Township Fire Department, the Marysville Fire Department, and the Union Township Fire Department responded to a structure fire at a property in the 13000 block of Adams Road.

Deputies were dispatched to a business in the 7000 block of Industrial Parkway to investigate the theft of 1999 Ford F-350 and an enclosed trailer. A report was taken, #22-0342.

A deputy was sent to a residence in the 7000 block of Dogwood Drive to investigate identity theft involving a fraudulently obtained debit card account. No report was taken.

A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 16000 block of County Home Road to investigate identity theft involving a fraudulently obtained bank account. A report was taken, #22-0344.

A deputy was sent to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Jeremiah F. Gorby, age 45 of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant. He was transported to the Tri County Regional Jail.

A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 7000 block of State Route 161 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2019 Mercedes-Benz 220 that struck a 2018 Honda Accord. A crash report was taken, #80-22-178.

A deputy was sent to the Union County Board of Elections on East Fifth Street to take possession of a found credit card that was found. No report was taken.

Deputies and Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Richwood Police Department with a stabbing that occurred at a residence on West Ottawa Street in Richwood. A report was taken, #22-0345.

Deputies were sent to a residence in the 14000 block of Harmon Patrick Road to investigate a runaway juvenile. The juvenile was located in the City of Columbus and a report was taken, #22-0346.

12:46pm Search and Arrest Warrant

The Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team served a search and arrest warrant at a residence on West Fifth Street in Marysville related to a stabbing incident that occurred in the Village of Richwood.

A deputy was sent to the Bellefontaine Police Department to take custody of Rosstin G. Bender, age 21of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant. He was transported to the Tri County Regional Jail.

A deputy investigated a property damage crash that occurred in the parking lot of a business in the 7400 block of State Route 161 involving a Honda Sedan that struck a 2013 GMC Acadia. No report was taken.

A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 23000 block of US Route 36 to investigate a trespassing complaint. No report was taken.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Rose Street in Magnetic Springs, to investigate the theft of a 2005 Ford 500. A report was taken, #22-0350.

Deputies were sent to a residence in the 17000 block of White Stone Road for a person experiencing a mental health crisis. No report was taken.

Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to the 14000 block of Watkins Road for an injury crash involving a 2007 Honda Pilot that drove off the road, struck a mailbox, traveled through a ditch, and then struck a utility pole. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital. The driver, Kyle W. Poe, age 29 of Bellefontaine, was issued a traffic citation for failure to control and two reports were taken, #80-22- 180 and #22-0351.
